IT'S A TERRORIST PLOT! FUCKING MOON-MUSLIMS!
So if you haven't heard about this yet, these faux lite-brite caricatures of Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters were part a marketing campaign... well, in the same vein as the mildly infamous mario blocks from the past (can't find a working link, but some kids were arrested for making fake '?' blocks a la Super Mario Bros. and hanging them in trees, from telephone poles, etc... everybody thought they were BIG MUSLIM TERROR BOMBS) these Boston-area Mooninites were deemed suspicious, an obvious terrorist plot, and everybody scrambled to save their precious city. Bomb squads called in. I-93 shut down. These characters were, get this, 'detonated' in order to eliminate the threat. Naturally, the people behind the ad campaign were taken into custody.
As if this weren't absurd enough, let's add to it a bit. In 9 other major cities, the same figures were allegedly around town for weeks without causing so much as a "wtf." If I hadn't lost all faith in humanity long ago, I'd probably be likely to pass this off as silliness unique to the Boston area. But hey, it's probably right for all of us to be skurred these days.
It begs the question though: what does terrorism look like?

PICTURE #2
Which of these scenes is a more accurate depiction of life immediately prior to terrorist acts?
In the "post 9/11 world" it's so hard to tell anymore.
I'd also like to add that my art has come a long way. Brilliant use of space all around, and my clever use of multiple perspectives in the first work would make Escher jealous.
