Hello folks. I'm sure that after 10 weeks, nobody in the world will check this thing anymore. That's quite alright, since I'm basically only penning this post out of boredom and since I am "playing poker" again.

Well, not really. I had some money left online, and sometime in early July was the first time in a long time I really felt the urge to play. I'm loosely kicking around the idea of working on rebuilding/working my way back up and doing it for teh income again, but that's nothing more than a "hmm, maybe" in the back of my mind. On the plus side, I really have felt sort of 'back to normal' the past few months, perhaps even better than the old 'normal.' It's good to be back after such a long, stupid hiatus. I was really really hoping though, that getting out of that pseudo-depressive existential funk would've also miraculously fixed my sleep problems. No dice on that one.

Aaaaanyway, seeing as I had a small amount of money online, I started dabbling in the wonders of the 11+1 turbos on FullTilt. I've long been worried that the games online were drying up, and indeed I think it's fairly obvious that the games nowadays are a far cry from the glory days of a couple years back on PartyPoker... but thankfully, I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the 11+1s are still way, way, waaay softer than I was worried they may have been. Over the nice and nearly worthless sample of SNGs I've thrown together over the past 3 weeks-ish, which is just shy of 100, I'm running at a 27% ROI. That barely correlates to meaning the games are soft, what with the tiny sample, but the limp-re-raise-pushes with 38s timed so that the initial raiser is pretty much pot committed gives me the inkling that maybe, just maybe, they're beatable.

I haven't really dove in too hard, but I've tried to slowly work my way back up to 'form,' so to speak. Mostly that means just getting re-used to the interface, getting used to the structure, and working my way back up to being able to multitable well. Still not really able to 8 table up to snuff as I used to, but I'm getting pretty close.

Assuming I make any sort of serious run, I'll keep throwing 'bankroll' numbers and results up here, along with the usual brand of nonsense. If not, oh well.
